Our members and all respiratory care practitioners toward a common interest and goal, the advancement of respiratory care as a science and a profession

Our profession and its mission within the medical community locally and nationally. Be agents for change: change which is prudent and with merit. Be custodians of our own practices, working in harmony with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Respond:
Contribute and influence factors which lead to change in healthcare delivery, the efficacy of our services, and the scientific basis of our existence as a profession.

Cultivate:
Teach and educate our communities at large, enriching their understanding of respiratory care; provide a mechanism for ongoing development as a science and discipline; serve as a professional resource.
